L is for… Legal


No, we’re not talking corruption this time. “Legal” is the Brazilian slang word for “cool” or “awesome”, used to describe people, clothes, places, situations, or pretty much anything cool and awesome. So if you’re in the stadium and you hear it – they’re not bemoaning corruption, they’re expressing the greatness of what they’re witnessing! “Qué legal!”
